Summer Must Have's/Obsessions

Summer is basically right around the corner (June 20th to be exact!) so I figured it would be a good time to let yall in on my favorite Summer items :)

My faves ... In no particular order ....

Neutral Lip Gloss...

Obsessed with this stuff, can't live without it! It's kind of a plumper so has a little tingle, be prepared ;)

One of my favorite Summer outfits ... so comfy, cute and easy! 

Non-Greasy, Smells Yummy, SPF ... 

This is my absolute favorite, you won't use any other SPF after you use this one! Smells so good and isn't all greasy and nasty feeling. Plus it kind of has a shimmer which is a plus :) 

A Good Summer Playlist for the Pool/Beach ...

This is my current playlist on my phone which constantly is on repeat (With the exception of Andy Grammer, that song drives me insane but it's Ava's favorite so I tolerate it lol, and yes that is Justin Bieber and yes that is for me and not the kids ha!) :) 

A Baby Pool in Your Backyard ...

No explanation needed ... Frankie and I love to lay out in the baby pool when we're too lazy to go to the real pool, lol :)

Yes, Frankie has almost every color Polo shirt that he wears to cookouts, parties, etc in the Summer

Pink Grapefruit Margarita ...

1 cup ruby red grapefruit juice

1/2 cup fresh squeezed lime juice (about 4 limes)

1 cup triple sec orange liqueur

3 cups ice

1 cup silver tequila

1 lime cute in wedges, optional Kosher salt around rim 

Looks pretty and tastes yummy :)

New Obsession!

Well hello there!

Did you think I had just given up on blogging all together?

Of course not! :) I have just had some distractions lately!

Craziness is the only word to describe how my life has been these last few weeks!

So lets just go straight to the most important thing I've got going on right now...

Raise your hand if you have jumped on this bandwagon ?!?

Holy heck I can not stop reading! I am only on the first book... got it on my Kindle because literally every person I know is currently reading, has read, or is dying to read these books... so I felt like I was missing something!

Once I started.. I was sucked in and now I can't stop reading!

Just for fun ... and in case you haven't bought this book yet and need a reason to, lol, take a gander at some of my Fbook comments about it ... :)

Hahaha obviously you can tell with 22 "Likes" in a matter of minutes, that I am not the only one obsessed! Makes me feel better about myself ;)

Yes, it is a little soft core porn-ish in my opinion. Yes, a couple of times I was reading I felt like I should be reading on a bench in an XXX rated store ha. But it's still good. You can't help but keep reading.

Wow this weekend has flown by!

Lots going on ... fun stuff and work ... so it was a good mix :)

Most importantly, I am aunt :) My cousin/sweetest/favorite person in the entire world had her sweet baby boy this weekend and he is ADORABLE!

How freaking cute is he?

9.5 lbs!!!

And she was TINY ... barely looked pregnant! Could not believe he was such a big boy!

 I wish they lived closer, I can't wait to squeeze his cheeks and kiss his face ha!

(even if he is a Tennessee fan hahahaha jk love you all!)

Next on the baby train ... my friend since high school/does my hair/BarreAmped owner teacher, Leigh Ann, had her baby shower this weekend!

First let's talk about how pretty she is ... talk about a glowing pregnant lady ... so pretty!

Soooo Saturday night was my 10 Year High School Reunion...

I really didn't feel old prior to this event, and I still sometimes kind of feel like it was just yesterday when I was roaming the halls of PLD trying to figure out how to leave school early ha

But something about the word "reunion" kind of made me feel old all of the sudden lol

I was still really excited to go and see people and mingle :)

And of course I drug Chris along for moral support, like any good boyfriend should do :)

It was a LOT of fun, more fun than I expected that's for sure! I'm so glad I went. It was good catching up with everyone who I don't get to see all the time due to everyone's crazy busy lives!

I love them. I think they're so funny and down to earth.

Giuliana found out last October she had breast cancer, and had been trying to have a baby for a while so it was sad that after the diagnosis, she found out she couldn't even try to get pregnant for 2 years!

Well this morning on the TODAY show they announced they are having a baby!

Easter Recap

Two catch up posts in one day... very rare :)

Easter is my favorite holiday. Period. I love it, love everything about it.

I love that everyone gets a new Easter outfit to wear to church :) I love coloring and hunting for easter eggs. I love relearning that Jesus rose from the dead for us. I love Easter baskets and goodies. I love those chocolate bunnies in the yellow box with the Peter Rabbit story ha. I love peeps. See? Love everything about it ha.

The kids left the Easter bunny this letter and snack haha I died..

He must have liked it because he left them these... ;)

And don't think he forgot this sweet stud muffin ;)

They each got these cute little shirts to wear for their easter egg hunt ha!

Chris even got a little bucket of his own ;)

I made "Easter Kabobs" ... via Pinterest... They were so cute!

Peeps, Homemade rice krispy treats, and fruit :) super easy!

We went to Chris's sister's house in Louisville for the afternoon after church to eat and hide eggs!

It was so fun!

She has a chalk painted door in her kitchen and I am OBSESSED with it...

How cute is that?? Love it!

My dress was so cute too ... I can't wait to wear it again... it was Lily P and super colorful ! Wish I would have gotten a better pic :(
