Superbowl, Baby Shower, Cakes, Oh My! :)

Call me crazy...

But there were basically two reasons why I cared about watching the Super Bowl tonight...

Reason #1 - Miranda and Blake Singing "America the Beautiful"

I LOVE them! Loved her pink microphone, she looked so pretty, and he so handsome!

Reason #2 - Tom Brady

 

No explanation needed, just look at the pic haha. He is so cute, right up there with David Beckham in my book (and of course my handsome BF ha!)

Meanwhile, Frankie sure did enjoy the Puppy Bowl ...

hahahaha he sat right up and watched them and growled and barked, it was hysterical!
next year he needs to be in the Puppy Bowl, wonder how you go about signing up for that? lol

Beautiful Baby Shower ...

Yesterday was one of my BFF's since high school, Emily's, baby shower we have been planning for (see this post) for months and I must say, it turned out so fabulous!

Emily looked gorgeous, the decor was beautiful, the food AMAZING, the most presents one has ever seen at a shower were opened (we had to have a half time break I am not joking) and oh, don't think I forgot.. the cake was BEAUTIFUL and delicious and I had my first experience ordering cake pops and oh my they were so cute!! Here are some pics so far from the day...

It was a "Sip and See" theme... very delicate and beautiful with tea cups and flowers and such :)

The food was amazing... catered locally by Season's Catering, they were so great!

1. Pimento Cheese Mini's

2. Vegetable Lettuce something that little nuts and a sauce in it ??

5. Mini Twice Baked Potatos (O.M.G I could not stop eating these!)

6. Mini Crab Cakes... literally melted in your mouth! Were my favorite!

Cake Pops with pink glitter and then pink drizzle on white chocolate... and pink rice krispy treats with the babie's initials on them! Then check out this beautiful cake...

How pretty is that? Loved it! Those ladies are to talented... and it tasted just as good as it looked!!

Katie made this cute tea pot pottery pieces to give away as favors to our guests... they were so cute!! 

Played a fun game of guess what was in the bag related to babies!! Such a good idea!

Katie also made the letters for Lila's room and this painting above that all the guests stamped their thumb print on ... I love this... once she is born she is going to go back and put her weight, height, date of birth, etc to have all her info on there! Such a wonderful idea!

Thursdays News!

Hello Thursday (and February for that matter!)

Thanks goodness it's almost Friday... this week has been nuts for me... worked like crazy... had 3 closings (woohoo!) and possibly a 4th one tomorrow, still waiting to hear!

First an foremost... it's Groundhog Day... I had no idea that today was the day... even though to be totally honest I don't believe in that crap anyway and here is a pic to prove it ha ;)

Kind of hard to believe 6 more weeks of winter when it is like 58 degrees today in sunny KY and feeling good! :) Love it!!

Ok next important news I heard today...

Yes that is Emily Maynard from Brad's Bachelor Season.. and today I heard the news that she is starting filming as the next Bachelorette!!!

Now I have mixed feelings about this... I absolutely LOVED her when she was on the show... I thought her story was so sweet, she was adorable and so pretty, Brad loved her... it was perfect. Then as soon as I saw the After the Rose show (anybody remember this?) I thought wow, she is bi-polar and evil, and I felt bad for Brad kind of!! Well I guess they couldn't work things out, and now she will try her luck with 25 guys... I won't pretend and lie to you and say I won't watch, because we all know I will ha!

Today is my friend, Kim's, birthday!!

Weekend & Pinterest!

Hello friends!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

This was a fun weekend for us, I worked a little, we visited Chris's new baby nephew ....

How cute is he? Love him! SO sweet!

Then we put a little Pinterest to use for Jake and had a BLAST ... take a look... if you have a small boy in your fam you need to try to do this!! It was so easy!

Jake put on his Spiderman outfit for a little extra emphasis LOL ;)

We actually did the entire hallway upstairs so that the girls could do it too down their side of the hallway lol. Just red yarn for the "lasers" and then tape them to the wall with duct tape (both from Hobby Lobby) and then they can crawl through and under and over!! I will admit I got stuck a few times ha, would like to say it was my pony tail... buttttt my backside got stuck a few times too ha! :(

I saw this cute frame on Pinterest too and decided to make them for Chris's sister to take to give her when we went to see Baby Birch :) Such a cute idea!

I just made them on Publisher and then stuck them in frames from Hobby Lobby (50% off now!) and then thought she could put them in their rooms or hang up or whatever :)

I am obsessed with our new warm headbands that I got for me, Ella and Ava... they are super cozy and very chic too if I do say so myself ;)

My new shoes came in and I am obsessed with them... not only are they HOT ass pink which I love, they are really comfortable and I am excited to run in them today for the first time :)

I got lots of compliments on them over the weekend... but the best were Ava's 7 yr old BFF and then their cousin who is 4 yrs old lol and then my cousin who is 5yrs old ha. So they seem to be a hit with the younger ladies... must be the pink!

I know a million people have pinned this but this fridge is literally the most amazing thing I have ever seen, what would you do to have a fridge like this? ha!

This office is great with the chalk board wall... and I love the way it looks, however, sometimes she messy chalk looks makes my OCD really bad so not sure I could handle it every day ;)

Since Valentine's Day is creeping up here are some ideas I have found ...

 Cell phone Valentines ha very clever. Ella is wanting to make these for her friends, they look semi easy and we found the candy buttons last night at Cracker Barrel :)

For all my preggo friends.. this is an adorable idea!
