Realtor Open House of the Century!

Hello Friends!

This was a crazzzzy hectic week for me... I feel like I have so many things to blog about I need to make a list STAT. I hosted (with the help of my lovely assistant Emily of course) an awesome Realtor Open House this past week which pretty much consumed a lot of my time this week, just getting everything ready and set up... but it sure turned out better than I could have ever hoped for!

Maybe you might remember me telling you I recently got a new fabulous account of some awesome condo/townhomes here is Lex to sell?!? Well it was Hamburg Farms, by Lifestyle Communities...

They are so nice... see for yourself... :)

Clubhouse

Awesome Pool for Summer Entertaining!

Very nice and equipped fitness center in the clubhouse

And an awesome interior clubhouse that you can actually rent out for parties or social gatherings!

So I decided to host a Realtor Open House... which is just basically a lunch for fellow Realtors to come by, eat and mingle, and tour a model or two to get familiar with the property in hopes they will have a buyer who might be interested?
(Think Million Dollar Listing if you will, for those of you who watch that on Bravo haha)

We had some awesome giveaways and food... which is a no brainer that hopefully people will show!

Here is the cute little invite that I made...

And our give-away prizes :)

Recognize that handsome sponsor? haha ;)

Then we had a big AWESOME prize of this...

Aren't those fun?

We prepared and set up and had some fun ideas (by "We" I mean Emily and I) but it wouldn't have been a boss/assistant kind of preparation had we not got side tracked at Wal-Mart by some fancy Christmas hats they had just gotten in... hahahaha ... easily amused we are! I won't post pics because Emily didn't approve them lol and they are very "special" ;)

How cute are these pumpkins Emily made?

The Reserve and Wellington II are two of our models and we sat these pumpkins on the front porch of those models for people to see when they walked in to tour!

For dessert we had an awesome little chocolate fountain with yummy fruits and snacks to dip in it :) This was a hit I'm pretty sure! Thanks Laura ha! ;)

We had a MAJOR spread of food catered by Sarah's Corner Cafe ... BBQ, cheesy hashbrowns, baked beans, potato salad & more! It was so good!

These were just a few pics I took of some of our Realtor guests... we ended up having 74 REALTORS ATTEND! So crazy!!!! Such an awesome turnout, even on a yucky rainy day!

I hope we were able to generate some future deals by familiarizing all these wonderful Realtors with this development! :) I wanted to give a HUGE Thank You to everyone who came out... I hope you had as much fun as I did :) Congrats to all the prize winners too!!

Anyone reading this ... should you know someone who is looking for an awesome place to live ... please keep these in mind :) and message me should you want any additional info!! They are very nice and range in price from $135,900-$179,900 ...

Ok that's my sells pitch of the month for le bloggy haha
Thanks for reading!

Oh, How Pinteresting Monday & Weekend Recap

33 minutes left of this Monday and I am posting my Pinterest picks for the week, lol nothing like procrastinating a little bit :)

But first, I will give a quick recap of my weekend... well the most important things at least!

1. Chris took me to dinner on Saturday night to one of our favorite places, Bonefish, because I was totally craving some of these...

Bang Bang Shrimp! So Yum! (Sorry for the bad pic it was a little dark in there!)
If you have never been to Bonefish, or had the Bang Bang Shrimp... run there now! LOL you won't regret it I promise!

We had a little relax time and caught up on the DVR and Frankie was sooo lazy this weekend, I'm pretty sure he had a cold ha, but he was so asleep I was fixing his hair in all kinds of crazy ways and he never moved one single time haha I was dying!

Here is one of his do's :)
How funny is that? Bless his heart.

I discovered a new OPI color today :) "It's My Year" ... Kind of purple/sparkly. Love it!

Lastly, my favorite thing about the weekend! I got something new I have waiting a LOONNGGG time for... I have now joined the 21st century and I'll give you a hint of what it is ...

That's right friends... look who got an iPhone!!!! :) Annndddd not only an iPhone, but the brand new iPhone4s that is shiny and white ha! Thank the Lord for Chris who got up and was at the Sprint store on Friday at 4:45am to wait in line for us, and I slept in til about about 6:45am then went up there so he didn't have to be alone.. and lucky us he was fourth in line and they only got 5 WHITE ONES in! Can you believe that? I was so close to not getting one. But I am pumped about it!
But now I need your help... please comment me some good apps that yall like :) I am slacking in the app department! But aren't you proud I already know how to take a screen shot?? yay!

Ok... now for some obsessions of the week...

Remember how I told you I made a list of life goals at my Shaker Retreat? Well one of the things on that list was to go to Bora Bora, and today I saw this pic and it reaffirmed my goal LOL how beautiful??

One of the other goals I wrote down was to learn calligraphy which is something I have always wanted to do! And these cutsie envelopes made me want to learn even more!

If I could own and wear this outfit, head to toe, every day for the rest of my life I would be the happiest girl alive! :) How cute and stylish but comfy does this look? Absolutely love it!

How cute is this hair? Love it.

Speaking of hair... how cute is this? Not sure if it's a kids or not lol but I would totally wear it!!

Such a presh wreath!

I love apples and caramel dip... probably have it as a snack every day I'd say... and these little bites are so cute. I am thinking of doing them for a function I am having on Thursday, they can't be that hard!

Crockpot Ribs... yumm... click HERE FOR THE RECIPE. I will be trying this week. :)

TOMS with 1 Corinthians 13 on them... never seen these before?!?!

Love this. Love Steve Jobs. Period.

hahahaha love this!
hilarious. and true. ;)

That's it friends... Happy Monday!

A little Shaker Retreat

My wonderful office, RE/MAX Creative Realty, had an overnight retreat this week at Shakertown Village... why you ask?

Well because we are #1 of course! :)

And we wanted to learn from the best, to keep going strong in this market!
I am so thankful to be at an office that is #1!
Just in case anyone should stumble across this little bloggy and is in the market for a Realtor, here is what I am talking about... (Oh, and call me, lol)

RE/MAX Agents Are:
#1 in Customer Satisfaction for buyers and sellers!

#1 in number of years of experience!

#1 in years of training per associate

#1 in giving back to the community ... AND

RE/MAX Creative Realty is:
#1 RE/MAX Office in Central KY

#1 Office in Production per Agent in Lexington! :)

Hence... our NEW LOGO...

Super Cute right?

Anyway... I knew when this little mini vaca involved me picking up BFF/Assistant, Emily, and then driving us to Shakertown, that it would be an experience to remember... and of course it proved true.

We got lost on the way there, my GPS took us basically to the middle of nowhere and ended our destination in the smack middle of a road.

Emily's phone got us lost too...
See that little blue dot? That was us ha. Off the beaten path to say the least.
No lies people.

I pull into the nearest public place, which happened to be called "Pioneer Market" to get directions and what do we see upon arrival?

Two horse & buggys trotting right up to the gas station
(for what, youre thinking? so were we... not like they needed a fill up or anything??)

So from this point forward, we themed this little trip our "Oregon Trail Experience"

Do you remember that game???

LOL surely you do!

If you don't I will refresh your memory... you make a little family, pick a buggy and travel down a path to the Oregon Trail and hope your whole family doesn't die off from some crazy disease!
FYI it is available on iTunes and you will be addicted if you download it now!

Anywho... Emily and I would only diagnose ourselves with "old timey" illnesses for the rest of the trip, her idea, gosh I love her lol so we ended up coming up with Typhoid Fever, Dysentery & Scarlett Fever hahahahaha ;)

Once we finally arrived this was our humble abode for the night

Very Shaker-esque don't you agree?

The beds were memory foam so that was great! :)

Emily couldn't resist testing them out ha.

We even had our very own rocking chairs! Which pretty much just held our luggage because we weren't able to rock in them for fear we would break them! haha.

Emily and I were off to find some sort of way to entertain ourselves before dinner and this is what we found...

hahahahaha this is a framer! ;)
(pretty sure my hat is the best part)

We had an awesome speaker, Judy LaDeur, she was so motivating and amazing!
I got some wonderful ideas!

I can't wait to start doing some of the great things I learned over those 24 hours!
Despite having no cell service or WiFi (which almost killed me ha) we had a great time and got so many ideas to help my business grow! I can't wait!!

One of the most important things I took away from the trip was that putting goals and thoughts onto paper, is a very powerful thing... and makes them so much more capable of coming true! I made a list of 10 Life Goals ... and maybe if I get brave one day I will share with you ha... but in the meantime, I am off to go work and start making them come true :)

Oh, and.... most importantly, my scratch off ticket that they gave all of the Realtors when we were leaving... was a winner! $6.00 WOOHOO! :)

PS. Today is Ava's Birthday!!
We enjoyed about two hours worth of "Daddy Town" which you may know as Gatti Town ha, last night... and then for breakfast this morning Chris told her he would fix anything she wanted... to which she replied "a toaster strudel w/ a candle on top!" hahah no eggs, bacon, biscuits, pancakes, nope... just a strudel! So funny.

Cute little face! So Presh! Love her!

Babies, Babies, Babies Galore!

Thank goodness no babies for me if that is what you were thinking haha not right now at least!
But I feel like EVERYONE is preggo these days!! Which is so exciting and I am so happy for all my friends and their great news! What is more fun to buy besides baby clothes??
(ok besides shoes and makeup and purses maybe lol I know that's what yall were thinking right??)

My sweet friend Kelly is expecting a baby boy in December and she looks amazing!! <3

Is she the cutest little preggers girl ever or what?
One round belly and a new cute short haircut, and that's about all that has changed! Lucky lady!
(ignore me, I look uber gross in this pic, was super tired that morning!!)

Sunday was her baby shower/brunch and it was so pretty so I knew you would want to see pics!

It was in the Malones Banquet Room and Kelly's mom had a "Clothes Pin Line" theme which was super cute! All the hostess brought gifts that could be hung on the line to show and for decoration. It was absolutely adorable!

We drank Apple Cider from Boyd's Orchard that was so yummy (must remember to get some for Thanksgiving this year!)

We had a mix of breakfast food and other snacks, but of course the best part was the chocolate fountain! :)

Kelly's mom gave each guest a gift when they left... a caramel apple from Boyd's Orchard with a sweet little thank you note on it! Great idea! Too bad a little girl devoured mine before I could even have one bite when I got home (ahem.. Ava haha)! But she said it was delicious and I am sure it was :)

My gifts to baby Mack (and Kelly of course) were my favorite baby gift... some monogrammed goods! Once you choose a name, it is on to the monogramming IMO so that is what I did.
I ordered from the wonderful Sew Jewel who is local in Lexington but also has PayPal so I am pretty sure she would ship too...?
She can be found on Facebook HERE
You can look at all her awesome work on there and get ideas too :)

Here is how great the stuff turned out that I ordered from her! She did SUCH a great job!!!!

The "Little Brother to the Fur-Kids" Bib is because Kelly & Garrett have two super cute dogs that will be big brother & sister haha :)

I loved the burp cloths!
All of the items she provided and did the monogramming, but I think you can take your own stuff to her also. She was super quick, did a great job, and everyone at the shower thought it was all adorable! I would highly recommend her if you are looking for some great gifts, don't forget Christmas will be right around the corner!!

Kelly her momma, Miss Sharon

Kelly & Chrissy <3

Lindsey & Kelly <3

The Girls!

Now for the cake... that was my duty I'm sure you already guessed that though lol
So this was my third cake from Confused Confections last week, crazy enough, and it was just as good as the others! We mixed it up a little and did Key Lime Cupcakes with Mack's initials on them ... because that is Kelly's favorite! :)

Pretty cute right?
I loved it and so did Kelly and that was what was most important lol
Must get pregnant lady a good yummy cake... mucho important! :)

Speaking of preggo ladies, my friend Emily who is also expecting (who really needs to start a blog especially now that she is expecting, that is on my things to do list to get her to start one lol) found out that they are 90% sure she is having a girl!!! Yayy! So presh!

Seems like just yesterday we were at their wedding :)
Is that the most adorable picture you have ever seen? Obsessed with it.

Can't wait for it to be 99.9% sure it's a girl so she can pick a name!! I won't spill her beans, BUT she's got some super cute, unique names in her back pocket!

Love you Em and so happy and excited for you!! (Bobby too of course) Can't wait to see you soon! <3

Remind me not to drink the water any of my friends are currently drinkin hahaha just sayin'
