Birthday Post!

First and most importantly... today is my best friend since the 5th grade, Chrissy's, 27th Birthday!
Happy Birthday CC I love you!

For her birthday we went to Riverbend last weekend to see Rascall Flatts, Sara Evans, Easton Corbin & Justin Moore... we were so pumped... sadly to say it wasn't the best concert :(

We got stuck in traffic and missed Easton & Justin :( Bummer!

And by the time we got there, it was not only 107 degree heat index at 8pm at night with absolutely ZERO breeze, but it was so crowded I wanted to die ha

On the lawn at Riverbend, you are sure to see some interesting things.. I wish I would have gotten more pics but my phone died... I will have to get some from someone else and post but we encountered people throwing up allllll over the lawn right next to us (vomit), two trashbag girls got in a fist fight and one left with her entire face covered in blood (not a lie, Chrissy being a nurse wanted to help, I wouldn't let her lol).

This girl and her friends creatively made these hats, she thought we loved them thats why we were snapping pics, in reality we wanted to blog about it LOL (I am not a mean person I promise, this was just too funny)

Chrissy's hair needed a little Southern Country love for the concert so I braided her up... so cute!

I was so excited to wear the pink cowboy boots... and look what I found to wear with them, at Target of all places for $20 ... pink denim jorts! Loved them! lol Don't Judge!

Despite all the drunk high school kids throwing up and the 110 degree sweating heat, we had a pretty good time, stopped at White Castle on the way home and had a dance party in the car! That's how we party ;) I have never felt so old until that night, let me tell you!

The next day we went to Chris's nephew, Jack's, 1st Birthday Party!! It was so cute! His sister, Lisa, is so crafty and creative... how cute is this...??

I am sure Jack enjoyed all his presents and family being there... but if he really understood, I think he would say this is the best present he is getting....

I went to Sephora to buy this and they were sold out, the lady said everyone is asking for it, they can't keep it in stock... but they did have a little travel mini one for $10 so I got that to try it. Maybe it's just me... but I hated it! It was so stinky! Yuck! The smell gave me a headache kinda. And I couldn't really tell that I had even put anything on?? So this was a bust for me. Maybe it's my skin lol but I don't know what all the hype is about!?!?!  So I got another one that my friend Kelly had told me about... Kelly's legs are ALWAYS so shiny and glittery and just glowing!

Now I will give you a few tips... it is a mousse.... so you kind of have to shake it before you use it, and you have to wash your hands afterwards or they will be very sparkly lol BUT it is all worth the end result!

I know this looks like poo ha but I wanted you to see it so you don't freak out because it looks like kind of gross when you squirt it out, but it rubs right in so don't fret! :)

I tried to take a before and after pic but you really just can't see how great it is... I don't know if I didn't have the right light or what lol but it just didn't do it justice?!!? :(

For those of you who know me well, you know that I often wear work out clothes, however the truth of the matter is that very rarely do I actually make it to fulfill the purpose of wearing the work out clothes by going to the gym! HA! Am I the only person who wears them because it is the first step of possibly working out for the day? ;) This time last year, I was going to Pure Barre, loving it, feeling great, not freaked out to wear shorts or tank tops lol... but when Fall hit I got super busy and then came Winter, and it was basically over at that point!

Tonight I decided I am starting back... only this time I am SO happy to say that my friend/most amazing hair stylist in the whole world, Leigh Ann, has opened her own BarreAmped Studio and it is amazing!

Soooo spacious! Even if 20 people were there, you still have room and don't feel cramped! It is so open feeling and just a great location!

Leigh Ann kicked my butt, of course, and what is the most fun thing to do when you know you're going to get your butt kicked? Bring a friend to join in on the pain and suffering!

Emily! Yay! So glad she came, working out is so much better when you have a date!

I think we got even MORE of a workout because Emily and I were dying laughing the entire time at how hard it was! 30 minutes in Em couldn't feel her legs and was afraid to stand up, 45 minutes in I was 99% sure my appendix was rupturing bahahahaha. It was intense.

Not only are these pics GORGEOUS but if you need a little work out motivation in your life, just take a look at these... Leigh Ann is awesome! I am thinking of printing of putting on my fridge ha!

Sometimes these are my favorite (probably everyone else's least favorite) blog posts... just a whole bunch of randomness! It is usually when I have slacked in blogging and want to share stuff so have to cram it all in together into a random bloggy :)

First and most important... the before and after pics of our flip house... :) Finally done and on the market!
Chris has worked SO HARD on the house, doing almost everything himself!
I just got to do the fun part which was picking out the new stuff inside ha.
At one point I think I tried to prime the kitchen cabinets which lasted all of two hours before I was over it lol
Please pray for a quick sell for this house :)
I am ready to move on to the next one (Only this time it will NOT have a tenant in it when we start lol)

A potted flower, painting the front door black and a new "Welcome" mat really makes a difference!

It may not look like a whole lot but we did so many little (and some big!) things to the house to enhance it's value, look and curb appeal! I think it looks fabulous! It was probably more fun for me than Chris, ha, bless his heart, but we enjoyed doing it together and just seeing it all come together at the end!

Most of the finishes came from Lowes... vanities, appliances, tile, light fixtures, etc.

Now for some randomness...

Ella is finished with her first year of swim team and she did so awesome! She absolutely loved it (at least that's what she told us when she was at our house!) and said she can't wait to swim again next year so hopefully that means she enjoyed it. I know practices in the mornings were rough but it was a good experience for her and gave her something to commit to for the Summer :)

Now onto Frankie... I am thinking of planning his 3rd bday party... I will do a separate post of his 1st birthday party so you can see how popular he is and why I am still considering if I want to do this again...lol Last year for his 2nd bday we just had a "family" party and he got to blow out a candle and eat his cake on the Dining Room table haha

However, this year since he will be 3, which in human years = 21... I feel like we should have a blow out for him!?!?! So I am trying to see if I can muster the energy to have another party in the month of July ha even though after the last one I told Chris when I mentioned having something else at our house for the next 3 months to please tell me NO! lol

I couldn't find Frankie the other day, searched all over the house... then went in the girl's room... and here he was... blending in with all the stuffed animals on Ella's bed ha I had to look twice to find him! What a stinker!

Love him! So precious!

I found an amazing product for all you ladies out there looking to obtain the Carrie Underwood leg shine that I believe PinkLouLou blogged about once before...

Now I am not saying your legs will look exactly like Carries' haha unless you've got a personal trainer and keep a food journal... BUT the shininess is so great!

When Chris gets home tonight I will do before and after pics and post them with the product!
